Our tour will start from Rome, meeting in front of your Hotel with our Tour Guide from 6:45 to 7:20 leaving from Rome with one stop on the freeway for a breakfast. Second stop will be at Pompeii archeological site, where you will be guided by our Gaetano Manfredi official guide tour team through the highlights of this intact ancient Roman city. And while visiting the main areas of Pompeii, like the Macellum (food market ), the Thermal Baths, the areas where the Romans would gather to have dinner and wine, some of the homes of wealthy citizens, you'll learn about their good and bad morals and their way of life.
After leaving Pompeii, we will head towards the Amalfi coast. On the way to our first destination, Positano, we will make a stop for lunch at one of the most acclaimed Restaurants with suggestive sea view at a scenic viewpoint close to Sorrento.
We've chosen for you the two best towns of the Amalfi coast, After lunch we will take you, weather permitting, to visit the enchanting Grotta dello Smeraldo (Emerald Cave "Praia Mare").
This awesomely beautiful cave is named for the color reflected in the water and offers many fascinating geological structures where you can also have a sight of the famous Nativity of Christ.
Continuing on the Amalfi tour, you will appreciate, and purchase if you like, the world famous Pottery and the town of Positano and Amalfi - If you don't visit this two towns you can't say you've seen the beautiful Amalfi Coast.
In this towns, Positano and Amalfi, our professional English-speaking guide, will give you many information on the area and places to visit and will then allow you free time to enjoy any of them. With an experience that will last your lifetime, we will then make our return to the Eternal City of Rome.
