![]() The tour starts from your hotel in Rome were your driver will pick you up To lead you to the discovery of the cradle of the Renaissance: Florence. Once there you’ll be taken around on a walking tour by a professional local city guide who will describe the highlights of the city: the Cathedral with his beautiful dome built by Brunelleschi, the baptistery with his beautiful door nicknamed by young Michelangelo “ Gate of Paradise “ and the other bronze doors, the bell tower built by Giotto, Signoria square, Ponte vecchio, Holy Cross church which contains the tombs of many Italian personalities such as: Michelangelo, Galileo Galilei, Machiavelli, Donatello, Ugo Foscolo etc etc, the Pazzi Chapel, the medieval district were the great poet Dante Alighieri lived and worked until he was exiled due to the political fights between the Guelf and the Ghibellins and many more. After having admired the Ponte Vecchio we’ll then enter the Uffizi Gallery to discover some of the most important Italian Painters: Giotto, Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Tiziano, Raffaello, Perugino and many more. We’ll skip the line by using a system of tickets with reservations which will aloud us to enter immediately having more time to dedicate to the Italian Art. After lunch – not included in the price of the tour – we’ll move on to Pisa by using the speed way. In Pisa we’ll have time to admire the famous “ square of wonders “ a nick name given to the Religious centre which contains the leaning tower, the Cathedral ( built in a unique stle called Pisan-Romanesque) and the Baptistery by an Italian poet and writer named Gabriele D’Annunzio in 1910. Also you’ll have time to explore the “ Piazza dei Cavalieri “ the knights square which once was the political heart of the city with his beautiful palaces.
